The Master of Arts (M.A.) Political Science (Non-Thesis), offered by the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts, is a course-based program that emphasizes skill-enhancing and comprehensive learning opportunities.

Development Studies option: provides graduate students with a multi-disciplinary background through practice which includes a new seminar for students from all six disciplines and a thesis or research paper that must be written with a new multi-disciplinary approach.
European Studies option: is open to students whose work is focused on Europe, in particular on issues relating to European integration and provides graduate students with access to the European Center of Excellence.
Gender and Women's Studies option: provides graduate students with a cross-disciplinary specialization in feminist, women's, and gender studies.
