Many of us take our independence for granted, comfortably performing all kinds of tasks and activities at home, school, work and in the community.
A qualified Occupational Therapist, or OT, can make a difference in that person’s restricted lifestyle.
One of the best things about studying Occupational Therapy at ECU is starting your practical experience in your first year.
At ECU you’ll gain valuable learning experiences in a range of settings and with people with differing needs through fieldwork placements all throughout the 4-year course.
During your fieldwork placements, you’ll integrate your growing occupational therapy knowledge, skills and professional attitudes, while being supervised and assessed by registered occupational therapists.
In each year of the program, students undertake compulsory Professional Practice.

Minimum requirements for secondary school results can change, depending on the country where you completed your secondary study.
If you've completed a Certificate IV, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma at a recognized Australian education provider, this may also help you meet minimum entry requirements for an undergraduate course.
The entry requirements on this page don't apply to the following course because an individual assessment is required: Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy)
