The School of Planning at Dalhousie university provides professional planning education at the graduate level.
They are one of two constituent schools in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning. Their strength lies in understanding urban and environmental systems, and the relationships between them.
The faculty are committed to planning and designing good communities in life-sustaining environments. The School offers two programs: the MPlan (Master of Planning), and the MPS (Master of Planning Studies), a post-professional degree that provides professional planners with an opportunity to pursue research at the graduate level.

This an upper-intermediate course at the B2 level in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), helping develop students’ is listening, speaking, reading, writing, research and academic skills in preparation for study at university.

If you take the placement test and your score is too low to enter our lowest-level course (EAP Foundations 1), we will make arrangements for you to study at another language school in Halifax. The Dalhousie University EAP Program does not offer an A1 level course. This doesn’t affect very many students; fewer than 10 students per year find themselves in this situation.
