People trained in screen practice and production work in film, television, and online platforms on drama, documentaries, news and entertainment, advertising, communications and art practices.

The Screen Practice and Production major will develop your skills in screen media production, including scriptwriting, directing, producing, cinematography, production design, sound and editing, as well as your knowledge through screen studies units that analyse film and television. 

You’ll gain hands-on experience, performing different roles in the collaborative setting of screen production while building your creative portfolio and networks in the screen and related industries.

To apply for an undergraduate program, international students will need to have completed one or more of the following academic qualifications:

• A recognised university Foundation course
• A recognised 2 or 3-year Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
• At least one year of a university degree from a recognised institution
