Overview

Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science

Exercise scientists work with an extensive range of people.

These include elite athletes looking to improve their performance, those who’ve sustained a physical injury, workplace health and safety practitioners, and medical and allied health professionals.

They work in private practice, hospitals, gyms, aged care, government agencies or sports teams.

Macquarie’s Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science combines practitioner-led in-class instruction with professional and practical experience via hands-on learning and placements.

You’ll study anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, human growth, development and ageing, motor learning and control, performance analysis, and strength and conditioning.

Your learning will be enhanced by an outstanding new exercise and sports science facility, which includes industry-standard strength and conditioning and exercise and sports science testing equipment.

This degree was awarded qualifying accreditation in 2022 and will be considered for full accreditation in 2023/2024.
