The Master of Marine Management (MMM) degree at Dalhousie university is a 16-month professional, non-thesis and interdisciplinary program offering courses in the marine, social, management, and political sciences.
Students undertake internship placements that contribute to their graduate project research that has an emphasis on the management of a selected topic pertinent to the coastal and marine environment.
The Marine Affairs Program (MAP) at Dalhousie University provides an inquiring and stimulating interdisciplinary learning environment to advance the sustainable use of the world’s diverse coastal and ocean environments.
In education, research and outreach, MAP seek to develop outstanding marine management professionals by building on extensive global-to-local marine management networks. MAP executes these principles through the Master of Marine Management degree program.

If you take the placement test and your score is too low to enter our lowest-level course (EAP Foundations 1), we will make arrangements for you to study at another language school in Halifax. The Dalhousie University EAP Program does not offer an A1 level course. This doesn’t affect very many students; fewer than 10 students per year find themselves in this situation.
A four-year Bachelor's Degree from a university of recognized standing with honours or its equivalent, with a minimum letter grade average of B (equivalent to a 3.0 GPA, 73% or Second Class Honours, Upper Division).
The Marine Affairs Program seeks to enroll students from a wide variety of disciplines. Students enter the program from science, social science, law, policy, political science, engineering, planning, economics and business. MAP supports the interdisciplinary diversity because it ensures a horizontal learning environment (i.e. student to student) as well as the more traditional vertical situation (i.e. instructor to student).
