Master of Organisational Psychology

Organisational psychologists work with people and organisations. 

They are experts in leadership and talent management, recruitment, performance management, occupational health and safety, change management and career development.

Macquarie's Master of Organisational Psychology will provide you with the skills, knowledge and qualifications to work in various organisations, such as consultancies, large companies and government departments. 

You’ll be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia upon graduation.

Academic background and requirement

2 years:

  • Recent APAC (Australian Psychology Accreditation Council) accredited AQF level 8 qualification in psychology or recognised equivalent
  • Eligibility for provisional or complete registration with the Psychology Board of Australia

 

Assumed knowledge

The minimal admission requirement is an honours degree or alternative approved fourth year in psychology (or international qualification(s) deemed equivalent to this level by the Australian Psychological Society).

Recommended studies

Applicants who completed their psychology undergraduate degree overseas must prove their qualifications are equivalent to those offered in Australia by submitting them to the Australian Psychological Society (APS) for assessment. The APS determines equivalency; the outcome of the APS assessment must be submitted with the application.
