The Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Exercise Science at Victoria University is a dual-disciplinary degree that integrates biomedical science and exercise science into a compelling new area of study in physical activity, sports, and health research environments.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, biomechanics and kinesiology, psychology, and exercise science.
Students will gain hands-on experience in research and clinical settings, and will be prepared to make a significant contribution to the health sector.
The course is closely linked with the University's Institute for Health and Sport (IHES), Collaborative Research Network in partnership with the University of Melbourne, and the Australian Institute of Musculoskeletal Science (AIMSS).
Graduates of the course will be able to successfully enter professional settings within the health sector, including industry, research, and allied health.
They will also be well-positioned to pursue post-graduate studies in allied health courses.
