The Bachelor of Communication and Media at UOW offers a solid national and international media industry foundation.
With a focus on preparing you for global careers, the course emphasises high-level skills in media production, communication research and independent project work.
This degree is designed for careers in digital and social media, visual communication design, journalism, screen media production, marketing, advertising, and public relations.
You will be immersed in the study and practice of media and communication and gain flexible and transferable skills to prepare you for the ever-changing world of global media culture.
In addition to the core subjects in the Bachelor of Communication and Media, you must complete at least one major from the below list.
You can also complete two majors to increase your knowledge and employability in the media and communication industries.
If you haven't decided on your major, you can begin your studies without selecting one.
Students are also encouraged to consider CRLP200 (6cp).
