Overview

Bachelor of Mathematics Education

The UOW Bachelor of Mathematics Education qualifies you as a high school math teacher and focuses on developing your mathematical knowledge and professional teaching skills.

You will complete extensive professional experience throughout your degree, which allows you to learn by observation and apply your skills in the classroom.

You may also have opportunities for rural and international professional experiences, to study overseas with UOW's international exchange and study abroad partners, and to join international cultural immersion programs.

Mathematics is a discipline central to many branches of science and commerce.

Given its wide variety of applications, teaching the next generation of mathematicians requires specific skills.
