A major in Sustainable Business will prepare you for the more equitable, decarbonised world we are currently transitioning towards.
You will learn how to analyse and implement solutions for complex issues around climate change, equality and modern slavery to create a brighter future for all.
You will undertake a foundation year covering all core business disciplines, giving you a solid understanding of issues facing organisations today.
From your second year at the University of Wollongong, you will major in Sustainable Business, where you will develop the key knowledge, skills, and competencies to succeed in this fast-growing and exciting industry.
Graduates take many different directions, including working as Sustainability Managers, Environmental Consultants or the raft of new job options developing in the new economy.
Graduates could look at starting their own business in the climate mitigation, adaptation space, or postgraduate education.
You will also undertake a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you have learned in collaboration with students from other disciplines.
Plus, you have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards your degree.
After completing the Bachelor of Business (Sustainable Business), you may enrol in a postgraduate business Master’s degree and be eligible for up to 4 subject credits, reducing your master’s degree to 1 year.
This degree trajectory means you can graduate with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in just 4 years.

Applicants must have achieved the required score in a qualification equivalent to completing 13 years of schooling in Australia.
