The Master of Computer Science (Cyber Security) at UOW provides a solid foundation to help you solve practical cybersecurity problems and learn how to keep pace with innovations in cybersecurity technology.
The Master of Computer Science allows graduates to solve complex real-world problems by integrating computer science methods with effective management strategies and developing and deploying computer applications.
The Cyber Security major will equip graduates with practical tools and knowledge, such as running an autopsy of a real cyber-attack and conducting experiments on various online and offline cyber attacks.
It also provides an introduction to programming, risk management, and database and web security.
You will study subjects including Python Programming for Cyber Security, Databases and Security, Cyber Security Risk and Risk Management, Artificial Intelligence for Cyber Security, and Web Security.
You can put theory into practice with an individual capstone project.
