Pure Mathematics is concerned with exploring patterns and solving problems; it can provide new insights into nature, technology and business and create a pathway for innovative solutions.
Pure mathematics focuses on developing and analysing unifying mathematical concepts and principles through deductive reasoning.
The Bachelor of Mathematics degree at UOW teaches highly transferable skills in problem-solving, data analysis, probability and variability, mathematical modelling, logistics and logic.
