The Master of Science (Medical Radiation Physics) is designed for graduates with a preliminary education background in physics, mathematics, biology, or engineering.
The Medical Radiation Physics (MRP) program is backed by clinical associations with local and Sydney hospitals - over 50% of current practising medical physicists in NSW were educated and trained at UOW.
Your lectures in Nuclear Medicine, Radiobiology and Radiation Protection and practical classes will be held in hospitals by practising Medical Physicists and university academics.
This Master's program comprises 12 coursework subjects and an applied research project under the supervision of professional medical physicists.

A recognised Bachelor's degree in Physics with an equivalent average of 65%; otherwise, any Bachelor's degree with at least first-year university-level physics and mathematics, with an identical average of 75%.
