Develop and enhance a conceptual and practical understanding of data analytics.
Students are exposed to a range of business areas such as accounting and finance, human resource management, marketing, supply chain management and the information systems required to support these areas.
At ECU students work with a range of Business Analytics tools to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets, and visualise them in meaningful ways.
Such an understanding is essential for those who want to pursue a role in Business Analytics or business professionals who want to improve the quality of data-driven decisions in their business areas.
Students have the option of selecting an internship specialisation comprising two 30-credit point units (FBL6505 Professional Internship I and FBL6510 Professional Internship II) taken over two semesters.
Students are required to complete 60 credit point Internship Specialisation; or 3 x Core Option units (Management Practicum, Cyber Security, Project Management, Enterprise Architecture)
