Overview

Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (Graduate Entry)

Are you considering upskilling or transitioning to a career in the legal profession?

If so, QUT's Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) course may be ideal for you.

By building upon your previous studies, you can accelerate your path to graduation and enter the legal field sooner.

At QUT, students prepare for the modern world of law.

This law degree is unique in its balance between legal principles and practice.

With a practical, hands-on approach to teaching, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the Australian legal system and core areas of law required for admission to legal practice in Australia.

Students also learn about the relationship between Australia's Indigenous people and the legal system through Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives on law.

The teaching staff comprises award-winning academics and industry-leading professionals who bring real-world experience and theoretical knowledge to the classroom.

Another way students are prepared for the real world is via work-integrated learning opportunities.

These include legal clinics, community justice projects, study tours, internships, and meet-the-profession events.

By participating in these programs, students can build their professional network and gain valuable practical experience while earning credit for their degree.
