Throughout the course at QUT, you will work in a studio setting, responding to creative briefs that help you to develop a robust set of skills and knowledge that can be used for the expression of creative and innovative ideas. 

As you explore 2D and 3D animation, you will understand animation for film-making, game development, visual effects, motion graphics and virtual production.

Immerse yourself in the fine arts animation major with up to 16 discipline units and gain in-depth knowledge in your specialisation. 

As a public relations major, you will learn to think critically and research effectively to develop smart organisational communication that responds to the pressures of complex business environments. 

These skills will prepare you to face the challenges of the fast-changing business context in which you will be working.

Satisfactory completion of Year 12 in an Australian school system or equivalent.

India:

• Senior/Higher Secondary School Certificate/Pre-University certificate from QUT recognised state education boards with an overall average of 75% in the best five academic subjects.
• Indian School Certificate academic stream awarded by CISCE with an overall average of 60% in the best five academic subjects.
• All India Senior School Certificate academic stream awarded by CBSE with an overall average of 60% in the best five academic subjects.

China: 

• GAOKAO 60% in best 4 academic subjects.
   

Iran:

• Before 2020: Pre-University Certificate with a grade average of 15 on a 20-point scale.
• From 2020: National High School Diploma/Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a grade average of 15 on a 20-point scale in the final year (Grade 12).

Intensive Program:

When you have completed this course and met the faculty progression requirements, you will be guaranteed a place in the first year of your chosen bachelor's degree.

There are four foundation streams to choose from, each with 4 units.

You will be allocated to the streams based on your selected Bachelor's degree course and progression requirements (i.e. degree course pre-requisites).
