The double degree at QUT in human services and business will prepare you for work with organizations that provide public, non-government and private services such as child and family, disability support and health services.
In Advertising major, you will work on real-world projects, engage with industry professionals from day one and be academically eligible for professional recognition upon graduation.
Graduates who complete the advertising major will meet the entry requirements for membership at the Media Federation of Australia and Advertising Council Australia.
This course has a strong focus on contemporary social issues.
You will develop casework and case management skills, social policy processes, group and team practice skills, advanced communication, community work, and understanding of families and relationships.
You will complete over 500 hours of human services placement during this course, meaning you'll gain the hands-on experience you need to build a successful career.
You will further develop your assessment and intervention skills during placement and build your practice framework.

When you have completed this course and met the faculty progression requirements, you will be guaranteed a place in the first year of your chosen bachelor's degree.
There are four foundation streams to choose from, each with 4 units.
You will be allocated to the streams based on your selected Bachelor's degree course and progression requirements (i.e. degree course pre-requisites).
