The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Western Sydney University program is designed for students interested in learning to address humanity’s issues and challenges through developing and deploying technology solutions.
This program spans all major engineering domains and prioritises industry relevance by emphasising work-integrated learning to ensure students are career-ready on graduation.
Focus on a discipline area by selecting a major in Advanced Manufacturing, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, Robotic & Mechatronics, or Sustainability, and Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering majors only at the Sydney City campus after your study commence.
In addition, you can further specialise by selecting a minor from a wide range of recommended subject sets that will complement your chosen discipline.
As part of this program, you will also complete a minimum of 450 hours of industrial experience which will help you to emerge with real-world experiences when you commence your professional career.
Western Sydney University seeks to enhance student learning experiences by enabling students to engage in the culture, expectations and practices of their profession or discipline.
This program includes placement or other community-based unpaid practical experience.
There is a mandatory work component required for the completion of this program.

Academic English For Tertiary Studies
This program is designed for students with English as a second language who want to develop their language skills.
Each of the five English Academic Programs (EAPs) is taught over 10 weeks and includes 20 hours of face-to-face classroom time per week.
