Master of Business Analytics - Supply Chain Management

This practice-focused programme at the University of Auckland will equip you to interrogate business challenges and then source, manipulate and analyse data to address issues and inform organisational strategies.

You will also develop a strong portfolio of professional skills that will enable you to communicate effectively to a non-technical audience through the use of data visualisation tools and storytelling.

You will have a choice of three specialisations

These provide the opportunity to develop and apply analytical techniques in your field and engage in a project-based industry capstone that provide experience in responding to the challenges of working in a live business context with real data.

English Language Academy pathway programs

You can meet postgraduate English language requirements by successfully completing:

  • The Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP), or
  • The English Pathway for Postgraduate Studies (EPPS).

The ELA grades shown below are deemed to be equivalent to the following IELTS bands for admissions purposes.

  • IELTS 7.0: A- in FCertEAP or EPPS
  • IELTS 6.5: B- in FCertEAP or EPPS

 

1-To be eligible for FCertEAP, students must: (Course length: 20 weeks)

  • Hold a conditional offer of place from a New Zealand tertiary institution that recognizes FCertEAP.
  • Meet the English Language entry requirements for FCertEAP through one of the below test results (see table).

Academic background and requirement

  • You must have completed an undergraduate degree in business or a non-business degree in a relevant discipline such as arts, engineering, technology, or science.
  • Your study must be from a recognised university (or similar institution), and you will need a GPE of 5.0  (70%-74.9%) in the most advanced courses taken.
  • In addition, you must have passed an undergraduate level course in business statistics (STATS 108) or equivalent.
  • If you have completed advanced course(s) in an undergraduate degree that are considered substantially similar to courses in this programme you will be required to complete substitute course(s).
