Operations and Supply Chain Management deals with understanding and integrating business processes within and between organisations.

What can you study in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of Auckland?

You can study Operations and Supply Chain Management as a single major or as a double major alongside one of the other majors offered within the Bachelor of Commerce. 

(These include Management or Marketing). 

You can also study towards the Bachelor of Commerce in Operations and Supply Chain Management as part of a conjoint degree programme. 

(In a conjoint programme, you study for two degrees at once, attaining the qualification in a shorter time than it would take to complete the two programmes separately.)

In the Operations and Supply Chain Management major, you will learn to solve complex business problems related to the journey of products from the manufacturer to the customer. 

You will gain skills and techniques for managing and improving the integration of design, resources, processes and customer requirements.

Programme structure

In your third year, you’ll choose a capstone core course – select from an industry-based project, a business simulation, a live business case or an internship.

Secondary school qualifications

India: You need to have one of the following:

• 12 years of schooling and an overall average of 75 percent in the All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSC), Indian School Certificate (ISC), Karnataka, Maharashtra, and West Bengal State Board Examinations with a minimum of 70 percent in English.
• 12 years of schooling and an overall average of 80 percent in all other Higher Secondary State Board Examinations with a minimum of 75 percent in English.

China:

• The National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) is otherwise known as Gaokao. (Have a high school diploma or equivalent, Be in good health…) (Score required = 73)

Tertiary qualifications

You can transfer from another tertiary institution if you meet these requirements.

• You need to have the following: One-year successful bachelor-degree level study at a recognized university (or similar institution) overseas.
• Grade required = GPE 3.0 (60-64%)
