The knowledge and skills gained in this program can be applied to a number of current issues.
For example, encouraging ethical media practices, guiding ethical principles in emerging technologies, and developing policies that benefit people and the environment.
Internships and Research Opportunities
As a student, you will gain real-world experience with two internships in the public service and/or non-governmental organizations.
In partnership with the school’s Research Centre in Public Ethics and Governance, this program also offers you the unique opportunity to work with professors and contribute to ongoing research projects.

Students who successfully complete the most advanced level (ESL 500) of the English Intensive Program offered by the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI) at the University of Ottawa with a final grade of at least B satisfy the language requirements.
These students don’t have to pass one of the language tests described above.

You'll be given the tools to develop your reading, writing effectively, listening, and speaking skills to understand and communicate ideas in the academic context effectively.
You'll benefit from the many opportunities to practice your English inside and outside the classroom with your classmates.
The office has its own placement test. As well as, depending on the number of students received in a certain semester, it accepts students of all IELTS scores.
The minimum admission average is 70% (except for Quebec applicants from secondary school)
Have a diploma attesting to 12 years of education equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Persons who have completed a secondary diploma attesting to 13 years of education, such as the Baccalauréat de l’enseignement secondaire français, can receive up to 30 units of advanced standing.
