The Bachelor of Arts, Major in General Studies degree program provides you with the opportunity to develop a degree program that suits your unique interests, combining courses across different Arts disciplines.
Working with an Arts Degree Advisor, you can create a personal program of study that helps you reach specific career and personal goals, intentionally developing a broad interdisciplinary liberal arts education. Completing this degree will normally involve a selection of courses from a number of departments that form around a unifying theme.

Graduation from high school (secondary school) or completion of 24 or more undergraduate-level credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
Applicants without an English 12 may be able to present IELTS, TOEFL or other tests.

Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): Score of 70 or higher with no sub score less than 60, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Language Proficiency Index (LPI): Level 5 with an essay score of 30 or higher, taken within the last two years from the term of admission
Duolingo English Test: Score of 110 or higher, taken within the last two years from the term of admission.
On April 21, 2020 changes to the English Proficiency Testing Options for Admission were approved by the Senate Executive Committee.
Effective immediately, on a temporary basis until in-person testing resumes, applicants may satisfy KPU's University Preparatory English Proficiency Requirements as follows:
Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 95, taken within the last two years from the term of admission, for admission to Pathway 3
Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 85, taken within the last two years from the term of admission, for admission to Pathway 2
Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 65, taken within the last two years from the term of admission, for admission to Pathway 1 or the Diploma in English Language Proficiency
