Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management - Global

The Supply Chain Management - Global program at Conestoga College prepares students for logistics, procurement, supply chain and operations careers.

Through extensive practical learning activities, students enhance their knowledge of supply chain concepts applicable to various sectors. 

This program has been approved for advanced standing toward attaining the Certified SCMP Designation. 

Are you interested in taking this program on a part-time basis? It's possible to complete this program while still working full time and fulfilling your other commitments. 

The Automotive Stream consists of (3) courses focused on sustainability and quality aspects of the automotive sector of Supply Chain Management. 

The curriculum is designed in collaboration with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) to focus on strategic and operational issues, procurement management principles, and Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques. 

This optional stream is available only at the Doon (Kitchener) campus to students who complete level 1, apply, and meet the academic admissions requirements. 

Space is limited; only successful applicants will be admitted. 

This stream begins in level 2 of the Supply Chain Management - Global program. 

It is intended for students who wish to gain a deeper understanding of Supply Chain Management as it relates to the automotive industry. 

The automotive stream is taught by academic and industry-experienced professionals preparing students for successful careers in the automotive industry.

Conestoga offers a language program for students whose English language skills are below the standard required for admission but have met all other admission criteria.

You will be eligible for admission to the degree program after completing level 4 of the General Arts and Science - English Language Studies (ELS) program with an overall grade average of 80% and no grade less than 75%

Your placement in the ELS program is determined by scores on an in-house English language test or TOEFL or IELTS.

Academic background and requirement

  • A two- or three-year diploma, or a degree in business or a degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Preference will be given to graduates with a business diploma or degree. Engineering graduates should have business courses or business experience and will be considered case-by-case based on their transcripts and work experience.
