The Food Safety and Quality Assurance - Food Processing program is a two-semester, full-time graduate certificate program designed for students having a previous degree or advanced diploma in science, food or engineering.
This program prepares students for a career in food safety and quality assurance in the food processing industry.
The program offers courses designed to enhance skills and knowledge gained in previous education stages for direct applicability concerning food safety and quality assurance in the food processing environment.
This program is unique in Ontario because students apply their learning in Conestoga's pilot plant facility, enabling learners to incorporate theoretical knowledge in quality assurance and food safety into the practical environment of food manufacturing.

Conestoga offers a language program for students whose English language skills are below the standard required for admission but have met all other admission criteria.
You will be eligible for admission to the degree program after completing level 4 of the General Arts and Science - English Language Studies (ELS) program with an overall grade average of 80% and no grade less than 75%.
Your placement in the ELS program is determined by scores on an in-house English language test or TOEFL or IELTS.
