Conestoga’s two-year diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communications is a rewarding, cross-disciplinary program that equips you to be a creative and strategic thinker who can engage with on-trend brands and craft strategic marketing campaigns through social platforms with the confidence that this industry demands. 

Taught by passionate, award-winning faculty, you will learn the essential aspects of: 

marketing research, B2B and B2C sales strategies, social media campaigns, brand development, UI/UX design, copywriting, public relations, and visual design apply to various media applications. 

By leveraging a research-based methodology for problem-solving and using current industry software, you will learn to create, persuade, and entice audiences with targeted communication pieces that span various advertising mediums. 

The program’s live-client capstone project allows you to develop and present a comprehensive, integrated marketing communications campaign, including budgeting and full creative content creation. 

Working individually and collaboratively, you will also develop professional business acumen through managing project expectations, delivering campaign collateral, and meeting tight deadlines for your client.

Conestoga offers a language program for students whose English language skills are below the standard required for admission, but all other admission criteria have been met.

An applicant will be eligible for admission to the program after completing level 4 of the General Arts and Science - English Language Studies (ELS) program with an overall grade average of 80% and no grade less than 75%

Placement in the ELS program is determined by scores on an in-house English language test or TOEFL or IELTS.
