Overview

Finance (Post-Baccalaureate Diploma)

Boost your resumé with a specialty credential in finance geared toward one of Canada’s fastest-growing industries.

In the two-year Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Finance program at Douglas College, you’ll acquire financial literacy, a strong foundation in financial planning and investing, and an understanding of business and financial law.

Once you graduate, you’ll be prepared to take on roles such as financial planner, financial advisor or investment analyst.

Designed for post-degree students, the Career Boost program prepares you for part-time paid or volunteer positions that complement your studies.

You’ll participate in career-building workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions, career fairs, networking with employers, peer-led leadership meetings and more.

Once you graduate, you’ll get the continued support, skills and knowledge you need to find a full-time job in your field.

Put your skills to work by joining the optional Co-operative Education Program, which alternates semesters of study with paid, full-time work in your field.

You’ll earn money while gaining experience, building your resume and getting an employer reference, all before you graduate.

To participate in Co-op you need to plan two semesters in advance.
