Diploma - Commerce and Business Administration

Get an introduction to a variety of business and other subjects with the Commerce and Business Administration Diploma program at Douglas College. 

Choose from courses in accounting, marketing, economics, computing studies and information systems, English, philosophy and more.

You’ll benefit from class projects focusing on real-world situations and the resources in the state-of-the-art computer labs. 

Put your skills to work by joining the optional Co-operative Education Program, which alternates semesters of study with paid, full-time work in your field.

You’ll earn money while gaining experience, building your resume and getting an employer reference. 

To participate in Co-op you need to plan two semesters in advance, so it is strongly recommended to contact the Co-op Office at the start of your program.

Academic background and requirement

  • High school graduation OR 19 years of age by the end of the first month of studies in the semester of entry to Douglas College; and
  • A minimum overall grade average of 60% (or equivalent) in the final year of high school; and
  • A minimum final grade of “C” or 60% (or equivalent) in Grade 11 Mathematics or equivalent for most programs

AND

  • Some courses in this program require students to have completed Foundations of Math 11 with a grade of C
