Selkirk College offers a great start to an undergraduate degree in biology.
Complete your first two years in this learner-centred environment!
If biology isn’t your passion, but you need it for another program or degree that you are interested in, the college offers a variety of biology courses that are relevant for non-biology majors.
Biology is the science of life, so it is relevant to everyone! If you like biology, you are curious about living creatures.
You might be interested in learning about the complex structure of a bacterium, an insect, or a plant, or maybe you are interested in human health.
You might also like exploring how intricate genetic, biochemical and physiological processes work.
Or, perhaps you enjoy learning how organisms interact with their environment and how ecosystems function.
At the end of a biology degree, you will acquire or be able to:
$17,620
Cost of living | 1 person | $6,792 |
Accommodation | 1 bed room | $5,220 |
Tuition | 1 person | $12,400 |
Applicants who lack the specific English admission requirements may still gain admission to the program with the understanding that they will successfully complete ENGL 66 Essential English course in the first year of their program.
This course must be completed to advance beyond 30 program credits.
The Academic English program allows students to build their English language skills and earn credits that can be used to transfer into a Selkirk College diploma or university transfer program.
No minimum TOEFL or IELTS score is needed for entry into the English Language Program.
