Humber’s Business Administration advanced diploma program allows you to develop extensive knowledge on how businesses work and teaches you to become competent in the full range of skills needed to facilitate business operations.
Courses in operations management, accounting, finance, human resources management, strategic management, marketing research and much more will give you the opportunity to cultivate key business skills such as communication, teamwork, project management and strategic business analysis. This program is built on a common platform of a solid business education – principles of management, marketing, business law, finance mathematics and microeconomics. This common platform is shared with other business diploma programs in year one and is expanded on in year two.
Graduates with an overall grade point average (GPA) of 65 per cent or more may be considered for admission. Graduates may then complete the degree with the equivalent of four semesters of full-time study plus a paid work term.
All students who have achieved a cumulative program grade point average (GPA) of 80% or better upon graduation of their Ontario college diploma will be automatically awarded a one-time scholarship of $2,500 in recognition of their academic achievement at the diploma level.

The curriculum is geared toward non-native speakers of English who want to improve their writing, communication and critical thinking skills for entry into college diploma, degree, and graduate certificate programs or for further professional development.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses: Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U or equivalent) Grade 12 Mathematics (MAP4C, MCT4C, MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U) or Grade 11 U or M Mathematics (MCR3U or MCF3M) Two Grade 11 or Grade 12 C, M or U courses in addition to those listed above
With this program, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills to pursue a variety of potential career paths in business including management finance, human resources, marketing and international business administration. Among the roles you’ll be qualified to apply for are marketing researcher, merchandising manager, product manager, budget analyst, sales representative, financial planner, office manager, human resources administrator, advertising account co-ordinator and event planner.
