Overview

Advanced Diploma - Massage Therapy

Humber’s Massage Therapy advanced diploma program provides you with the in-depth academic preparation and hands-on practical experience required to become a valued member of a healthcare team.

Working in our state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll develop the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct a patient assessment, develop treatment plans, deliver safe and effective treatment, and evaluate outcomes.

You’ll also learn how to run a successful business, preparing you to become an entrepreneur or own private practice.

As regulated healthcare professionals, massage therapists are overseen by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act and the Massage Therapy Act.

Work Placement

You will have the opportunity to practise your skills with seven unpaid work placements – four of which take place on campus in the Massage Therapy Teaching & Learning Clinic and three of which take place off-campus in the community.
