Advanced Diploma in Environmental Technology

Environmental Technology is a three-year Ontario college advanced diploma program combined with a co-op component

Students will study and gain experience in environmental processes that provides foundational knowledge of air, water, and waste management issues

Graduates will feel confident entering the workforce after hands-on learning combined with 12 - 16 months of co-op training.

Maintaining, nurturing, and protecting the environment is a global priority. As a result, understanding the environment and providing innovative solutions using new and emerging technologies has never been more important.

The environmental course curriculum includes bacteriology, analytical chemistry, air pollution meteorology, water quality management, industrial hygiene, and hydrogeology. 

This environmental program emphasizes measurement and analysis techniques as well as legislation for air, water, and waste.

The theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience using state-of-the-art instrumentation, combined with real work applications, will give you a competitive edge upon graduation with your environmental diploma. 

This three-year program provides students with a strong basic knowledge of Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Biology

Fanshawe's 10-level EAP program is certified by Languages Canada and meets the language requirements for admission to Western University, Fanshawe, and many other Ontario colleges. 

The EAP program and full-time professors will help you to gain confidence and fluency in using English as well as help you prepare for your next steps using the latest methods and technology.
