Construction Engineering Technology is a three-year advanced diploma for students interested in overseeing the construction of residential, industrial, and commercial projects.
Students will learn to estimate project costs, develop a construction plan, schedule projects, and perform on-site inspections using the latest technology.
Graduates from Fanshawe College will be prepared for their careers by learning the soft skills required to be effective leaders.
The Construction Engineering Technology program will develop the technical knowledge and skills required to oversee and manage the construction of residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
Studies include construction materials and methods, construction equipment, surveying, project management, scheduling, estimating, building economics, and construction contracts.
Twelve months of co-operative work experience is an integral part of the program.

Fanshawe's 10-level EAP program is certified by Languages Canada and meets the language requirements for admission to Western University, Fanshawe, and many other Ontario colleges.
The EAP program and full-time professors will help you to gain confidence and fluency in using English as well as help you prepare for your next steps using the latest methods and technology.
