Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technician - CNC/CAM

The Mechanical Engineering Technician program at Fanshawe College teaches students to work on computer systems within the manufacturing industry

Students will learn machine theory, blueprint reading, and applied mathematics

Graduates will feel confident entering the workforce with knowledge in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Machining (CAM), and Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) programs.

You'll get hands-on experience with the computer applications and software used in Computer Aided Machining (CAM) and Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) programs.  

Plus, There's also a mandatory co-op placement in year two of the program, so you can earn while you learn, testing your knowledge in real situations, in real machine shops.
