Medical Radiation Technology is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program where you’ll study human anatomy, radiobiology, and radiographic procedures.
Students will develop technical imaging expertise through classroom instruction, lab work, and hospital training in various departments at Fanshawe College.
Graduates will gain the necessary skills of communication and patient care skills to care for a diverse population. You will gain invaluable hands-on experience by completing a 54-week clinical placement at a hospital in Ontario.
When you graduate, you will be eligible to write the national certification exam of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.

Fanshawe's 10-level EAP program is certified by Languages Canada and meets the language requirements for admission to Western University, Fanshawe, and many other Ontario colleges.
The EAP program and full-time professors will help you to gain confidence and fluency in using English as well as help you prepare for your next steps using the latest methods and technology.
