Overview

Graduate Certificate in Photography - Advanced

Fanshawe’s Photography – Advanced post-graduate certificate provides students who have a solid foundation in DSLR camera operation with opportunities to develop their unique creativity into a professional career.

Students will explore a chosen photographic discipline where projects will be based on their choice of specialization and result in a professional portfolio that aligns with their personal career goals.

Specialties could include fashion, food, architecture, product and portrait photography. In addition to advanced photography and post-production skills, students will also gain entrepreneurial experience in marketing and job pricing, working with real clients as they operate an on-campus creative service center providing photography and video production to the local community.

Throughout the year, students take field trips to meet with professionals in the industry and visit trade shows and conferences to research new products and future trends in photography.
