Overview

Graduate Certificate in Visual Effects and Editing for Contemporary Media

The Visual Effects and Editing for Contemporary Media program is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program designed to prepare creative and disciplined students for a career in the Post Production industry.

Students at Fanshawe College will improve their post-production knowledge and skills through individual and group assignments, practical instruction, independent learning, tutorials, and research.

The program includes an opportunity for client services, an internship within the post industry across Canada, as well as self-directed portfolio projects.

During this post-graduate certificate program, you will learn the theory of digital technology and become proficient in using software for video editing, audio editing, motion graphics, 3D animation, compositing, and visual effects

As well, your portfolio will be expanded and developed throughout the program so you’ll graduate with a professional demo reel to show potential employers your creativity and innovation.
