This post-graduate program provides graduates with the skills and knowledge to efficiently manage all aspects of a project to achieve organizational goals in a competitive global environment.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

This program at Fleming College is designed for college and university students to enhance their education and acquire the skills to meet the growing demand for project managers in the global economy.

Efficient project management has become a key element in the success of today's organizations. There is a globally accepted skill base required for effective project management. 

This program aligns with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, 6th ed.) as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI®), a worldwide industry organization association that maintains standards and credentials in 185 countries.

Program courses are designed to guide students in the development of technical project management, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, meeting and presentation skills. 

Students will be introduced to traditional project management techniques as well as those from Agile Project Management and Lean Six Sigma standards.

Option 1:

Successful completion of Level 8, in Fleming College’s English Language Bridge (ELB) Program.

  • Diploma/Certificates require 70% grade in Level 8
  • Pharmacy Technician and Post Graduate Certificate require 80% grade in Level 8

There are 8 levels of English skill development. Each level is 8 weeks in length and each week consists of 23 hours of instructor-led classes as well as tutoring and experiential learning opportunities. 

The English as a Second Language Bridge (ELB) program integrates the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills needed to succeed in a post-secondary environment.

MINIMUM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Students applying to Project Management must meet the following requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or Ontario College diploma in a related field or equivalent

Applicants who do not meet the requirements listed above and who possess a combination of education and relevant experience may be considered on an individual basis.
