Language pathway (conditional offer) is available

Applicants who do not meet NIC's English Proficiency Requirements can choose to attend Language Pathway schools across Canada that partner with NIC. 

Upon successful completion of required courses at one of the language pathway partners, you can smoothly transition into NIC's academic program.


Academic background and requirement

  • C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or equivalent
  • C+ in English 12 or equivalent or  IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Students are recommended to take ENG 104 in the first semester.

Students who do not have a band score of Academic IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 20, PTE 50, CAEL 60 or higher in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking will be required to take ENG 104 in the first semester.
