This advanced diploma Business Administration – Marketing program will open doors to opportunities in the exciting and fast-moving marketing field.

The learning is hands-on and project-based, and this program provides opportunities for case studies and real-world projects involving industry partners.

What differentiates the three-year advanced diploma from the two-year diploma is the additional opportunities for hands-on learning and digital marketing courses, international marketing courses, marketing research courses, and marketing strategy courses. 

You can also expand your horizons with additional business electives.

This learning experience will enable you to:

  • Develop an integrated marketing communication strategy for marketing products, concepts, goods or services based on an identified target market.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to provide the information needed to make marketing decisions.
  • Develop strategies to establish effective working relationships with clients, customers, consumers, co-workers, supervisors and others.
  • Evaluate the viability of marketing products, concepts, goods or services in an international market or markets.
  • Formulate and prepare a marketing plan including marketing objectives, marketing mix, marketing strategies, budgetary considerations and evaluation criteria.
  • Integrate digital marketing and social media into a marketing plan with an understanding of various platforms and technologies.

Education pathway


Academic background and requirement

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • grade 12 English (C or U)
  • grade 11 math (C, M or U) or grade 12 (C or U)

 

China:

  • Minimum grade of 60% (especially in English and Math)
  • Minimum grade of C in required subjects

 

India:

  • Graduated from senior secondary school
  • Minimum overall of 60% in 10th and 12th Grade for all streams
  • Minimum overall of 50% in English in 10th and 12th Grade
  • 12th passing scores in English and Math. If no 12th Math, 50% in 10th Math is required.
