This program is unique in Canada.
George Brown College's Assaulted Women's and Children's Counsellor/Advocate program provides students with a feminist, anti-racist analysis of the political and counselling issues related to gender-based violence.
It trains students to be agents for change in their work in all sectors of their communities.
It also prepares them to provide anti-oppressive counselling and advocacy for self-identified women, children, trans and non-binary survivors who have experienced or are experiencing gender-based violence.

George Brown College’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) (R115) program is a post-secondary program for international students that helps students learn English and will prepare them for post-secondary study and future employment.
