Graduate Certificate - Building Information Modeling Management

This program at George Brown is designed to provide hands-on training to students to apply and integrate the principles of Building Information Modeling (BIM) into all aspects of a project, from conceptualization to operation. 

Graduates of this program will be able to deploy BIM applications in any organization involved in the procurement, design, construction and operation of building facilities.

Successful students will also be able to deploy BIM technologies and BIM Management processes to all phases of a construction project.

Key features of the program:

  • Ontario’s first graduate certificate in Building Information Modelling.
  • 95 per cent of graduates gain full-time employment in the construction sector.
  • Students have access to our advanced BIM lab facilities.
  • Semester 3 combines practical learning in a work environment together with a number of online and short modules in practical skills.

Academic background and requirement

Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma (3-year) in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Landscape Engineering, Architectural Studies and Interior Design.

 

China:

  • Translated and or attested copies of Degree or Diploma
  • Translated and attested copies of University/College transcripts

 

India:

  • Applicants for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college.
  • 1st or 2nd class degree results required. Second-class degree results must have a minimum overall average of 55% for Business programs and 60% for all other streams.
