Advanced Diploma - Civil Engineering Technology

The Civil Engineering Technology advanced diploma program at George Brown College is a 3-year program that focuses on: 

the planning, designing and construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, subdivisions, buildings, municipal services and heavy infrastructure. 

Students learn to ensure projects are functional, economical and meet standards and codes. 

There is a blend of lectures, laboratories and tutorials on real drawing sets. 

There is an option for co-op.

Academic background and requirement

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • grade 12 English (C or U)
  • grade 11 math (M or U) or grade 12 (C or U)

 

China:

  • Minimum grade of 60% (especially in English and Math)
  • Minimum grade of C in required subjects

 

India:

  • Graduated from senior secondary school
  • Minimum overall of 60% in 10th and 12th Grade for all streams
  • Minimum overall of 50% in English in 10th and 12th Grade
  • 12th passing scores in English and Math. If no 12th Math, 50% in 10th Math is required.
