Study a combined Bachelor of Applied Public Health and Bachelor of Business Administration for a wide choice of specialisations and career paths in health, public service and private enterprise.
When you study public health, you’ll learn about preventing illness in populations and developing programs and practices that promote better health in individuals and communities.
When you pair public health with business administration, you’ll be well placed to use your skills and knowledge in the industry, public service or small business.
You can further extend your intercultural experience by participating in a Global Virtual Classroom, studying at Rome Campus or participating in an international study tour.
The Bachelor of Business Administration will provide you with a good understanding of business fundamentals and hone your communication skills by starting you off with a unique Business Foundation Program.
All ACU's business units are embedded with the United Nations' sustainable goals.
And Microsoft certification is also embedded into units in the degree, so you'll graduate with a strong foundation in the Microsoft programs favoured by employers.
You’ll gain up to 175 hours of workplace and community experience before graduating.
Work placement
As part of the Work Integrated Learning program, you’ll gain 105 hours of industry placement in your area of specialisation.
Community engagement
As part of your degree, you’ll have the opportunity to work with not-for-profit organisations with 35 to 70 hours of community engagement experience.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) focuses on developing your English language proficiency and approach to academic study to help you complete university-level courses.
At the same time, it allows you to become familiar with campus life and the resources and services available to you.
These courses range in duration from 5 to 30 weeks and are available at the Brisbane, Melbourne and North Sydney campuses.
0.5 IELTS band below the required level for ACU pathway or degree programs 10 weeks
1.0 IELTS band below the required level for ACU pathway or degree programs 20 weeks
1.5 IELTS band below the required level for ACU pathway or degree programs 30 weeks
Upon completing EAP, students will meet the English language requirement of most ACU Diploma courses, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate programs.
You’ll need an Australian Year 12 Certificate equivalent if you're an international applicant.
