English for Academic Purposes (EAP) focuses on developing your English language proficiency and approach to academic study to help you complete university-level courses.
At the same time, it allows you to become familiar with campus life and the resources and services available to you.
These courses range in duration from 5 to 30 weeks and are available at the Brisbane, Melbourne and North Sydney campuses.
0.5 IELTS band below the required level for ACU pathway or degree programs 10 weeks

Upon completing EAP, students will meet the English language requirement of most ACU Diploma courses, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate programs.
If your previous study has equipped you with knowledge, skills or experiences that align with the learning outcomes of units in your new course you may be able to apply for recognition of prior learning, and you may be able to complete your course sooner.
