Academic background and requirement

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful completion of the equivalent of Australian Year 12.
  • Bachelor-level qualification study for a period of at least 2 years full-time with a minimum overall GPA of 4.0 completed in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa or the United States of America, which will meet the English proficiency.
  • English (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent; Mathematical Methods (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent

Assumed Knowledge

Recommended study: Mathematical Methods, Physics, and Design

China:

Gao San (Senior Middle 3): Grade average of 80% or Satisfactory completion of one year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution 

 

India:

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) awarded by CBSE, ISC, West Bengal and Maharashtra boards: Minimum average of 60% in four academic subjects.

Higher Secondary Certificate from all other boards: Minimum average of 65% per cent in four academic subjects

 

Iran:

National High School Diploma Pre-University Year Certificate: Successful completion of High School and Pre-University Year Certificate with a minimum GPA of 13 or above (20 point scale)

Academic Pathway:

START UNI NOW (SUN)

SUN is a CQUniversity initiative that allows you to study CQUniversity units in senior high school. 

SUN allows you to enrol in various CQUniversity units (subjects) online, which you can combine with your regular high school work. 

After completing SUN, you may be eligible to apply for direct entry into an undergraduate degree at CQUniversity (excluding quota-managed courses).

ACADEMIC PREPARATION
