For the English as a Second Language program, it requires a minimum IELTS score of 3.0; for entry into English for Academic Purposes, a minimum IELTS score of 4.5 is required. 

Both programs run full-time for 8 months. Students beginning in English as a Second Language will then take an additional 8 months full-time of English for Academic Purposes before moving into their program of study.


Academic background and requirement

Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, or University degree in a related field (Broadcasting - Television, Film Studies, Video Production, etc.)

Or work-related experience in the field and an interview with the coordinator of the program to determine whether admission requirements are met.
