The Bachelor of Arts in Global Political Economy Manitoba university takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of international political, social, environmental and economic issues.
The program brings together faculty and course offerings across five disciplines, providing students with a well-rounded understanding of global political economic relations and its effect on local communities.
The Faculty of Arts offers three- and four-year undergraduate degrees in global political economy.

The English Language Centre (ELC) at the University of Manitoba (UM) offers the full-time Intensive Academic English Program (IAEP).
If the student does not meet the English Language Proficiency requirement for their program of interest, the student can take advantage of this program to obtain the Academic English language skills needed to complete a degree.
If you have already achieved one of these minimum test scores, you may be eligible to enter Level 5 of the IAEP directly:
An equivalent minimum average of 70% over the following senior level courses, with no less than 60% in each course: • English • Mathematics • A third academic course • A fourth academic course
