This is an accelerated version of the Law Clerk program. If you have a previous postsecondary degree or diploma, you will finish this program in nine months instead of four semesters.
The program will prepare you to work under the supervision of a lawyer in a fast-paced legal environment.
In addition to learning about legal principles and ethics, you will obtain practical, hands-on training that will equip you for success in the workplace.
The curriculum focuses on criminal, immigration, intellectual property, personal injury, real estate, corporate and commercial, family law, litigation, wills and estates, etc., emphasizing the technological skills needed in these practice areas.
Fluency in English is critical to your success in the program and the legal environment. There is a strong focus on communicating effectively from the beginning of your program to graduation.
A Part-time option is available.

As an international student, you have the option of learning English at Seneca's English Language Institute (ELI) before starting your professional program.
There are eight (8) levels in the ELI that are seven (7) weeks in length each. There are six (6) start dates per year: January, March, May, July, September and November.
If you apply to a professional program and you do not meet Seneca’s English requirements, you may receive an Offer of Admission to your program that is conditional upon completion of the English Language Institute.
The college will use your English test score to place you at the most appropriate ELI level. If you do not have an English score, you will take a placement test when you arrive on campus.

After finishing Level 8, You will receive a Certificate of Standing from the ELI, and you will be automatically registered in your program at Seneca. You will not have to take another English test.
