This program at Georgian College is designed for students who want to understand human behaviour and use this knowledge to promote the mental health of individuals, families, groups and communities.
Students are exposed to various counselling and psychotherapy approaches and strong foundation in psychology research and theory.
During the practicum and work term, students obtain experience with different populations and working environments that allow them to explore career options and practice the skills that prepare them for employment or graduate studies.

Note: International students applying through the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program from Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Senegal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, or Vietnam should note that the SDS IELTS requirements are 6.0 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands.
